DCL Hearing offer a unique service where if you live within a 15mile radius of us (Postcode HA6 1PQ) there is a very high chance we can have a fully trained Audiologist sent to your home or work address (where permitted) for impression taking, to take any hassle out of ordering your custom ear moulds! Swim Plugs
Many people recovering from ear infections, perforations or ear surgery, as well as those with chronic conditions such as drainage, must keep their ear canals dry to prevent more severe problems from developing.
Children also often simply don’t like the sensation of water in the ear canals, at DCL we have a very simple solution to all of these problems with our wide range of floatable and non-floatable custom made swim plugs. Custom made swim moulds are made to fit the contours of your ear perfectly, to create the most water tight seal around your ear as possible. The moulds are ideal for bathing, showering, swimming or most other water sports.
Swim moulds are available in colours from translucent to an array of standard colours, marble effect colours, neons, glitters and logos. We also have a wide variety of floatable colours, so in the case of the plug being removed from your ear whilst in water, they will simply float to the top and be easily found. (Please note:- floatable material is not available in transluscent or glitters)
Filter Plugs
One way that noise can permanently damage your hearing is by a single brief exposure to a high noise level. Hearing damage can also occur gradually at much lower levels of noise, if there is enough exposure over time. To protect your hearing, limit your exposure and give your ears a chance to recover from high or frequent noise levels, noise plugs of different varieties are available from DCL all custom made to perfectly fit your ear, and limit the noise exposure to different attenuation levels depending on their specific needs.

Music Enhancement & Electronic ipod Moulds
While earbuds made for iPods devices are a good start, and newer style headphones with arms reaching around your ear to hold it in place are a slight improvement, custom ear pieces shaped from an impression of your own ear canal takes your listening experience to a whole new level. Non-Integrated
Non-integrated moulds are a custom, carved silicone mould, with a large bore hole to accommodate the bud which comes attached to the end of most simple, modern headphones. You simply plug your headphone into the bore hole and off you go, with background noise blocked out from the plug, and the security that the tight fit offers enabling you to participate in activities without them falling out, the options of what you do with these headphones in is nearly limitless! These are a perfect choice for anyone wanting them for activities such as going to the gym, jogging or walking, or laying down and listening to audio books.
Integrated
We have made our integrated moulds for people who want to take their listening experience to the ultimate level. These custom made moulds include the full electronics of high specification headphones fitted inside a full shell earmould. These moulds are top of the range and offer the highest class of personal listening. They can come in a range of colours and designs, with a limited option of different materials. They are truly superb, and the quality listening experience they offer really is second to none.
